I believe my dog [Golden Retriever: 11 months] gets bored a lot, because my mother wont allow him inside. He has his own beautiful home with AC (in case it gets hot). Has a fence and is not always allowed to run around in the garden, because our maids and people passing by get scared of him. So, how can i keep him entertained with something? You know like something to keep him busy in his home. Other than a kong? I buy him toys but he loses interest in them. I want something that makes him ^o^ (makes his ears go up). Would you people suggest that's good to keep him entertained/busy ?

Spend more time with him! It sounds like he spends a lot of his time alone so it's no wonder that he's bored. When I am away for the day I give my dog this ball that you fill with small treats and he can nose it around so they fall out....you could try something like that. Also, there are balls that you can record your voice into that is activated when your pooch plays with it. Another thing that i find helpful is leaving the radio on for him, I think it's because he hears the voices and doesn't think that he's alone.

This dog definitely needs some activity and stimulation from you! No wonder the dog gets bored. Simple toys aren't enough to keep the dog happy, he wants attention from you and lots and lots of exercise!

A lot of people get golden retrievers without realizing how extremely active they are. Take him for walks to a park where dogs are allowed, and try to find a fenced area where dogs are allowed to run off-leash. Teach him to fetch, and he'll get lots of enjoyment just chasing the ball and bringing it back to you.

Obedience train him, as this is a good way to bond with the dog and it'll make him happier when he gets praise for doing good things. Of course, don't expect him to listen to you when he hasn't had a good run in several days -- exercise really comes first with golden retrievers. Try to find a well-mannered doggy playmate for him. Dogs can get lots of exercise tiring themselves out by playing with each other. This doesn't mean you should just get another dog without thinking about it first, but look for a friend's dog that has good manners.

Taking care of a dog, especially a high-energy dog like a golden retriever, takes a lot of time each day. If you're not willing to devote this time to your dog everyday, then the dog is better off in a different home that will be willing to give him what he needs.

In my own opinion, only working dogs should really be restricted to being outside at all times, they have a job, therefore they are constantly "entertained". Does this dog get any human affection? Dogs, like people are very social animals. Living in a home, or fenced in area is pretty depressing, try taking him for daily walks.

It sounds like your life is rich and rewarding while (reguardless of the nice dog house) your dog is suffering in misery. The bordom is because it HAS NO LIFE!!!! Imagine if you were confined to your room, only visited once in awhile, never allowed to socalise and given things to play with by yourself? You would quickly get bored too! Trade places with your dog for even a day and see how YOU feel! Dogs...are VERY social creatures and are "pack" animals. They need to be with the people in their lives. Having a dog just because you want it is CRUEL to the dog whaen it is isolated form everything!!!!
What you are training your dog to do is to hate the world and not like people (or other animals). I wish they would pass a law stating that if you are to have a dog, you must NEVER shut it out in a kennel to live out it's life ALONE!!!!!!
Do the pup a favor and find it a loving home with people who will CARE for it

You need to wake up and realize that that is called neglect. Dogs are social by nature and by taking that from them, you are basically taking away their happiness. If you read up on it a bit, you'll see that what is happening to your dog is a real disaster. No dog, playful and social with human beings by nature, should ever be locked up and sheltered from that. Either give him to a family that will be able to give him the love and care that he needs, or get your *** out there and start playing with him. No toy or home could ever replace the love he needs.

You shold be working with that Dog taking walks training him playing fetch .
Dogs are social animals they need to be with people if not another dog. Really why would your mother get a dog when she is not willing to participate with the responsibilty of caring for it!!!! An 11mo old Golden needs attention and training if you won't do it , give him to someone who will.

It relies upon. in case you incredibly fairly think of that Jesus is the main intense concern ever, then you certainly ought to do it. Plus, I heard my pastor say that throughout the time of heaven, we get to rule with Jesus. i do no longer understand what we are ruling over, yet that sounds like some thing to watch for. Heaven is the place God is and hell is the place God isn't. whilst you're fairly against being with God, i will no longer be able to provide up you. i assume to you hell would be heaven on your techniques, till you get there. no you are able to nevertheless say what heaven or hell is like. have you ever been there?? maximum of what we predict of this is like is in simple terms guesses based on the Bible, yet even PhD professors on the Bible have a hard time with this.
