i know you don't want to hear go to the doc, but there's so many things that could cause stomach ache and loss of appetite, there's really no other option. it's weird that the stomach ache happens at the same time every day, though. have you changed your diet at all? maybe something that you are eating is causing this. i have a couple of things that if i eat them over the course of the day, they don't give me any grief, but if i eat them too soon before going to bed, they give me no end of trouble, and it's always around 4 a.m. that it wakes me up. didn't used to be that way, too, so either my body chemistry has changed, or the way pringles and oreos get made has changed. have you taken anything for the nausea? i'm sure a lot of people will tell you to take some kind of home remedy, so if you try them and end up having to go to the doctor after all, make sure you let them know what you've tried. are you taking any kind of medications? whether prescribed or over the counter? if so, could this be a side effect? it's a little hard to say what it could or could not be just based on two symptoms. anything else you could think of to give people some more info? have you moved recently? shortly after we moved to texas, i started having issues with diarrhea, i know, gross, but i think it was a matter of adjusting to the higher level of chlorine in the water. it smells like bleach when i boil water for anything, and i had the same thing when i lived in california, but not any other state i've lived in. even if you haven't moved, could there be something going on with your water supply? does anyone remember crypto-spiridium? we had an outbreak in milwaukee years ago, and it took a little while for anyone to figure out why so many people were sick. if you think it's because you're getting food in your stomach, is that because you aren't eating before 2 or 3? i mean, are you up and about all day without eating and then when you finally do, you feel ill? that's not a good thing to do to your stomach, leaving it empty of anything but stomach acid all day. can give you ulcers.
