Once it is said, you can't take it back and don't let him get away with it now as it only gets worse. If this is the first time it has ever happened and you want to work it out, set some ground rules that you both must follow during an argument...one might be it either of you it to the point of exploding, agree to walk away and cool off before trying to discuss whatever the issue is any further.
My ex used explode then to say horrible things to me in the heat of an argument then a half hour later act like nothing was wrong that saying, sorry, didn't mean it, just was mad and wanted to hurt you at the time, but now I am over it and you should be too.
I wasn't, I didn't get over it and after 7 years of trying to repeatedly, divorced him as it got to the point that the things I said back to him, I meant, I did not like the person I was turning into or the example I was setting for my son to try to cope with the dysfunctional situation anymore.

i once had a boyfriend like that well actually a few. listen honey DUMP him because its only going to get worse. I finally found a guy that doesn't do that. you might actually think u love this person. He doesn't love u even if he cries to you and tells you he is sorry 4 saying those bad things he doesn't mean that or he would've never said them bad things.

Most people have; the only case I can think of where this wouldn't happen is if the argument in question ended the relationship.

Yes i have. To be honest when you say those things you usually mean them but aplogize later because it was the wrong thing to say. If its in his head to say to you when he is heated it probably means that he is telling the truth on how he feels. I guess it depends on what was said.

Mine does that, and it still takes me awhile to get over it. He tries to say that I am the one with the problem, but how can you just snap out it when he is the one to say the hurtful things.

No, he knows better...LOL! (We don't argue anyway...)
In all honesty, when you have an unconditional love and/or respect for someone, there is no way that even in your maddest moment, you could say something harmful. It just doesn't work that way.

Depends on if he was being funny about it and joking around..................... but for the most part I never joke around with a girl because they are way to emotional.
