Yes. It is time for U.S. involvement in the middle east with physical presence. Powers are growing over there and dangerous weapons are within reach. This will never be a reasonable conflict because of the terrorist mind set that no other human beings are compatible to live with them and they are intent on destroying the "infidels".

If the U.S. pulls back, there will be more attacks on our homeland and many more people will die. Hopefully, we will have resources and technical capability that survive these attacks to be able to strike back.

It is only a matter of time, unless there is a victory in Iraq which means that Muslims make a stand against terrorists and stand side by side together with Allies against such barbaric mentality.

I think it was a huge mistake, Saddam was not a nice person, and as a matter of fact was awful, however it is not the U.S. right or mission to change governments throughout the world because we don't like what they are doing. War should only be used as a last resort to a direct threat. Saddam did not fit into this category. Just look at the mess that we have made with no end in sight, ten billion a month going to this war when there is so much that needs to get done in this country the education, and health care in this country needs to be over hauled, the treat on our southern borders need to be addressed and yet we are committed to a country that will forever be in turmoil whether we are there or not. Yes, I think that going to war with Iraq is wrong on many levels.

Bush got us into this war based on poor intelligence. We still haven't found weapons of mass destruction after 16 years of searching. We are wasting billions of dollars and thousands of American lives chasing a [pipe dream in Iraq. Centuries old ethnic hatred, and religious differences aren't going to be eliminated easily. An American style democratic government is never going to fit with radical Islamic teachings.

in the first and second world wars we did nothing whil regonal conflicts turned into global crisis'. That is why today I feel we have a duty to act imediatly when a regonal conflict, such as a dictator seizing power in a small country, arises. Yes, we did the right thing when we went into Iraq to oust Saddam, we should have done it when he first took power.

I think it was the right thing to do in taking out Saddam. I do not think the war is going good because we have to have a politically correct war, i.e. we can't go into mosques and drag the terrorists out.

It was right to oust Saddam, They just should have given that as the reason instead of lying about it!
