how do i deal with a brokenheart in the workplace?

i was seeing a guy i kinda work with. i work at a library and i'm a book shelver and he's a secrity guard, and people found out about it and he almost got fired so now he wants us to cool it down a bit and stop seeing each other but i feel so hurt and i feel used. what should i do? i'm off today but i go in tomorrow!

Just be professional about it.
Remember that both of you have jobs that pay bills.
You can not be frustrated with him because people found out.
You must accept this reality and be devoid of emotion while at work.
Unless either of you are willing to find another job, I'd say that the answer is pretty obvious.
Respect his position at work and you shouldn't have a problem.
It's only a problem when your performance at work becomes a liability.
