No....but it does help...Alcohol has a lot of calories...and no nutrional value...so you may want to look at cutting back...but you can still enjoy it and just work out harder.

When I was dieting I was losing about 2 lbs every week and still drinking. Just beer though, if you are going to drink liquor you have to skip the soda just drink it straight. I drank lite and ultra lite beers and still lost weight and I would drink about 3 or 4 days out of the week.

bacardi light only has 65 calories per shot and mixing it with a 1 cal can of diet coke makes a good 66 cal drink.....of course you're better off not drinking on a diet, but this is a good alternative rather than something like beer.

You don't have to quit, but take it in moderation. No one wants a beer belly!!! just remember drink plenty of water and excercise is the best way to loose weight!

Yes, being sober will definitely make the aerobics class easier. Choose water over everything else (including diet soda) but don't shy away from the occasional glass of red wine - it's good for you in moderation.
