The likelyhood of being allergic to marihuana is the same as apples or chicken.
THC will help alleviate the symptoms of asthma, but you should find ways to reduce the amount of smoke inhaled (bong, vaporizor, cooked in food).

I personally break out in hives on my hands sometimes when i touch the stuff, as for the asthma, the weed is not going to kill you but it may aggravate it, I personally would suggest shelling out the $200 for a vaporizer, you won't have any of the smoke effects of well smoking, also be careful and don't let smoking marijuana take over your entire life or let it pull you into harder drugs.

In 40 years of my life smoking weed....I never heard anyone ever was medically allergic to it.
I do not recommend you to get on this.
But if you want to, why do you worry about "an allergic reaction"?
What you should be worried about is that after you tried it, you may like it very much!
And then...... you may want to try something "heavier" like chemical drugs which will ruin your entire life.
POT is ok and never killed anyone! But any chemical drugs will take away your life. Your CHOICE! Beware!
Pot only is great! I love it!

allegies are auto immune responses to things that "normal" people's bodies dont worry about.
The likelihood is def there, but in all reality the smoking of it if you are allergic could be catastrophic, but you would be smiling on your way out.

A lot of people get an allergic reaction to touching the weed. If you touch it and then touch your face or scratch your arm, etc. you're likely to break out in hives.

not likely thats for sure. but the smoke is more powerfull so that could mess you up. i think you might find that smoking a joint ends up making you feel like you smoked a pack of smokes in about 2 hours. well thats more likely if you smoke more then one joint but you get the idea.

I have tried it a few times and i know i never will again because every time i end up in the bathroom hugging toilet.
I think its intolerance not allergy, but i dont think its worth risking if you have asthma.
