If your not going to keep the Kitten, you should not name the cat.
This way when the cat gets a new home, the new owner can name the cat..less confusion for the cat..Cats learn their name by the way it is said not the actual name..so if you start to call the cat some thing, the new owner will have a hard time getting the cat to answer to her new name..
Plus if you give that cat to the Vet, the cat will end up in a SPCA and may be put down...I would try to find a home for her your self, it will make you feel good that you found the home.
Try putting the cats pic on myspace or some thing like that..
Good luck

hey Julie, i have performed this earlier - I had a kitten from 2 days previous and raised him to eight weeks. There are kitten formula obtainable (we offered ours from our vet), that you're making up and use a small kitten milk bottle to feed the kitten. We used to feed him small quantities each 2-3 hours. rest room him by getting warmth kitchen roll and stimulating his bum - the mother would lick the kitten to stimulating bowel moves and until eventually you fancy licking the kitten it really is what i advise! As for warm temperature, save him in a warmth room, in a field with a great number of blankets, with a warm water bottle on the bottom. it will be like snuggling as a lot as mum. also, we placed a small filled toy (a cat beanie toddler!) in with mine to grant them some thing to climb on and sense truly a lot less lonely, as obviously there have been no clutter acquaintances. i'd not rush him to a vet immediately, yet get him in interior the subsequent day or so. The vet will verify his heart and allow you to comprehend tricky age, and help you with weaning him. it really is at the same time as it receives complicated. We weaned ours at 6 weeks. Dn't comprehend in case you've nevertheless were given little kitten, yet in case you pick you resources me a call any time - deliver me a message and that i'll throw my cellular form your way. the suggestion i have given you should tide you over until eventually you could ind him a clean residing house. optimistically! also - try cats probability-free practices, no longer RSPCA. Cats probability-free practices are not any-kill. RSPCA are.

i would not set it in stone just yet..you should wait until your cat starts showing more personality..then you will be able to think of a fitting name for her..i have two cats that went through like 4 names before i figured out 4 months later shadow and tiger will stick..because it is soo who they are now...tiger loves to prowl around and shadow loves to follow me everywhere..lol..so for now just cute "pet" names and kitty alot..and just wait it out until something sticks...good luck

I would say don't name her if you're not going to keep her. It makes you feel more attatched and it will be harder to watch her go. Also, the family that adopts her might want to name her themselves... Just an idea. Good luck! :-)

I think you should name the little girl "chance". Because if not for you bringing her into your home, even if temprarily, she has another chance to find a loving home.
