talk to you. you would do anything to renew the friendship? what do
you do when it brakes your heart that the friendship is over. there is a refusal to communicate and it is frustrating and hurtful. should i give up on the friendship or keep trying. the worst thing is that i do not even know what I did?

I would like to think a good friend would never shut you out for no reason. It's going to be very hard to fix the problem if you don't know what it is. If you have mutual friends try asking one of them why your friend is not talking to you. This will at least give you some insight on what to do next. Are you sure you haven't done anything to set this off? Maybe you said something to someone else about your friend and,it got back to her/him? Maybe it's about a guy? I think the best thing for you to do first is find out what happened. That's the only way you'll be able to fix it. I wish you the best of luck!

You didn't say whether your friend is a 'him' or a 'her'. Sorry, but I will use 'her'.
Confront her and demand an explanation. Tell her that you don't know what you have done wrong to deserve this treatment. Tell her that you deserve an answer because you still really care about her. Tell her that if she doesn't want to be your friend, then at least she should explain why.
