Doctors get sick just like any of us do. If they're good Doctors, they take proper steps to protect themselves and other patients. The most important one is frequent hand washing...they should do that a LOT throughout the course of a day's work. I know this is a simple answer, but I feel that is the bottom line.

Who told you doctors don't get sick? They are on the front line of all infections they get from the patients they are trying to cure. Of course, they are very well immunized at first, and they know how to take precautions. But they are not super beings and they are also vulnerable, and they also can catch a cold.

They do. Being a health care professional myself I can tell you from experience that the first couple of years while we are being exposed to everything everyone gets we get sick all the time. Doctors get exposed during internships and residencies. By the time you see them they are immune to everything or are very good at taking precautions against those things against which immunity does not develop.

I doubt it, I think the main reason is that they stay so clean. They're wearing gloves and washing their hands constantly.

They get vaccinated, they use gloves, masks, w/e.

Doctors do get sick though. My dad is a doctor, and he gets sick, but very seldomly. His trick is to take multivitamins and vitamin c every day.
