I guess when u like this girl you can be shy around this girl. some men r like that. The difference is that shyness is when u feel not confident enough to make a move but falling in love is when u feel attracted to the girl and she's special in ur heart.

Love is knowing someone, knowing their flaws, and wanting them anyways. Love is about a connection. Shyness is about attraction. when you are in love, you aren't shy around the girl.
