I suggest using wikipedia and google to research what happened in situations that were similar:
The massacres that occurred after we retreated from Vietnam and the continuing oppression of Communism.
The civil war and emergence of the Taliban after the Soviets left Afghanistan.
If our troops leave now it will lead to death on a huge scale. Either Iran or a new Taliban will take over the country. Millions will be tortured, raped, and murdered if we wuss out and run. All you have to do is look at history.

Insurgencys are beatable the Romans had a carrot and stick
approach they used inducements such as public baths and free circus shows to "de-bellicize" unruly populations. Those who refused to see reason were killed or, if captured, sold into slavery. Towns under seige could either surrender and be accepted as peaceful subjects or the town and all within would be utterly destroyed. The Romans dealt very very harshly with the insurgent leaders when they captured them they would feed them to the Lions.
The key to beating any insurgency is out terrorizing the insurgents if your not willing to do what it takes to win then it's time to get out.

Because when you are the sole remaining superpower and there are people who dont like you, FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION. We cannot lose a war, this is how rome fell and every other empire in History. The fact that so many libs are rooting for us to lose just to prove Bush wrong is amazing, their hate for Bush surpases their love for their country, a sad day in history.

Yes! Pull them out now. No need for our troops to die for a lost cause. War is based on lies. Iraq was no threat to the USA. Iraq did not do 9-11.
