They do something that is obviously flirtatious when they know you like them. Then when the flirting gets pretty strong, they leave. Like for instance, I inexpectingly held hands with a friend between dances, and we were flirting like crazy earlier in the evening. I then sat and talked to her for about fifteen minutes one-on-one. She then disappeared to go find her best friend and watched me for the rest of the night. Why?

Don't think too much and don't let that bother you. Just carry on with your life. If she is interested in you, she will contact you.

Um, she was waiting for you to make your big move on her...you know, walk over to her, sit yourself down and continue the flirtatious behavior in front of her friend. Stupid games girls can play. She wants you to do this in front of her friend to show you really like her. It's a game. She should've just sat there and talked to you one-on-one, but she's just playing games to mess with your head. She still likes you, just ask her out.

Because she is playing you and you are falling for her every move. She is testing you to see how far she can wrap you around her finger so that whenever she needs something, she knows that all she has to do is come to you and flirt enough to get whatever she wants.....That girl doesnt want you dude, move on.

What did you say to her
If you spilt the beans
you ruined it.
IF you held her hand then talked to her about other stuff not necessarily the twon of you you are probably still good and your girl is just stoked and went to see her girlfriend to decide what to do. just play it cool and act the same when she comes back

it's not that we're all like this. sometimes we try to play hard to get...in this case that may be what shes trying to do. if she gave you positive feedback and y'all were flirting all night, then yea i'd say she likes you. and maybe she also came with her friend? girls have very strong "sister bonds" when it comes to best friends. plus it would've been rude to ditch her friend

not all girls do that i mean i dont!!! maybe she was having mix feelings and think you are too good of a friend to lose if you had a relationship that didnt work. i mean i wouldnt want to lose my friendship with my best guy friend over a relationship that will probably end.

She enjoys being wanted, then bragging about it to her friends more than she wants an actual relationship with you.
