I am planning on putting up wallpaper border in my son's room, but we rent the apartment we live in and I'm worried about how hard it's going to be to take it down when we move. We plan on living here for at least another 2 years or so, so I won't have to worry about it for a while, but I wonder if it going to be a royal pain in the butt taking the border down.

Not hard at all. I just got done stripping wallpaper from a whole room. Took about an hour. There is a solution you obtain from the hardware, WalMart, etc that you spray on the paper which dissolves the glue. It is on for about 10 minutes and the wallpaper peels right off. Easy as pie.
