What do people get out of being so disgusting toward Christians and making a mockery of God? The Bible say EVERY knee shall bow. Oh, the shame some of you will feel when that day comes. Is it worth eternity? Is there no one in your lives that you care about enough to hope to see in heaven? My atheist friend loves her husband enough to say she does wish to be able to spend eternity with him, but apparently not enough to not mock God and have a chance of eternity. What will you atheist do when you die and find out that there is a God?

I won't die and find out they are right, I serve a living God who reveals himself to me every day. I figured i may as well amuse myself today. I have been in a revival for the past week, fasting and praying. I don't care what people think of me. it is not a Christians job to be quiet and observe while others mock the Lord of all the Earth. I am a joint ere with Christ Jesus to the throne of heaven. Put that in your pipes and smoke it.

Perhaps you should worry less about our pipes and take the crack out of yours. You ask whether it's worth an eternity. Is what worth it? Do you think people gain some pleasure from not believing in your religion? Do you think that we like the idea that there is no afterlife, no benevolent protector, no meaning? I believe that when I die I will simply be dead. My memories, my personality and my consciousness will simply cease to exist as the body that was once me is no longer able to support them. I did not come to this conclusion by weighing it against the possibility that the god I don't believe in will condemn me for it. I have chosen a belief not based on what is comforting or what my parents told me to think, but based on logic. Cold, hard logic. There are plenty of people I care about, and I would love nothing more than to see each and every one of them in heaven. But it is simply not going to happen. Simply wanting there to be a heaven and a god changes absolutely nothing. I want a million dollars, but I don't believe I have it.
Why don't you stop thinking about what would be comfortable and look at what actually makes sense?

Wow. Same question, different crap leading up to it.
If I met a god, he would be met with contempt. He's got some serious answering to do for leaving a book full of oversimplified and humanized misconceptions, demanding rules be followed that are against human nature, hiding dinosaur bones all over the globe, and making his followers into unquestioning livestock who spew scripture and behave in a manner contrary to their own beliefs (and the scripture they are constantly regurgitating). Personally, I think we're gonna have to have us some words....
Lady, if I put THAT in my pipe and smoked it, I would laugh until my bladder burst. You're pretty pretentious, you know that right?

I agree with you. Someone on here who's constantly insulting and mocking to God just asked why we Christians don't have a sense of humor. That's like someone making fun of the way your child looks and asking why you don't have a sense of humor. You are right. Every knee shall bow and confess Jesus Christ as Lord.

It's been going on sense the beginning of time, I can only assume God wants it to be this way. Christians are better off today though, they are not stoned, tortured, killed, and fed to lions as sport (as much anymore).

I'm not too worried about it. I don't mock any religion. I respect people and try to be a good person. I encourage people to love. If someone like me that encourages love and peace isn't welcome in Heaven, then I don't think I want to be there.

If your friend truly believed that eating poisoned apple-sauce, that they'd get aboard the comet spacecraft... would you not try to show them the truth.
If God exists, he alone has killed more earthlings than any earthling!!! The definition of a God and a god that creates a hell are grossly contradictory!

While I agree with you whole heartedly, you need to be preparred to be on the receiving end of a lot of Christian bashing.
This is simply not the format for reaching people with God's message.
Keep the faith and I'll pray for/with you.

I don't know quite what people get out of bashing christians, but tell me what do you get out of bashing non-christians ? The answers are probably the same on both sides.
Your question is more about your own issues then anyone else's.

It's interesting the way your type talks at people, instead to them. You refuse to even entertain the notion you may be wrong. What will you do when you die and find out they are right?
Apologies? I doubt it.
