Yesterday, I found out that I was charged $12.95 with FreeCreditReport.com (Triple Advantage). When I called to cancel my membership, the customer service representative said that my membership does not exist. I have two question I hope that someone can answer for me;

1. How can Triple Advantage say that they give you a FREE Credit Report when they charge you $12.95 a month?

2. How do you cancel your service with Triple Advantage because I cannot afford paying $12.95 a month for a charge to an organization that claims to be complementary?

Any assistance is appreciated and thank you for your help.

If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can cancel anytime to discontinue your membership to Triple AdvantageSM Credit Monitoring and stop the monthly billing. However, you will not be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of your current month's paid membership fee. To cancel, please contact Customer Service at 1-877-481-6826.

you need to contact the company that appears on your credit card statement- google their name and contact customer service, tell them you are cancelling your membership and ask for a refund for the first month's charge. BOL
