Hello.
My wife is a psychotherapist and tells me the following.
Psychosis is a general category of mental illness. There are only two, the other is mania.
Psychotic is used as a term to describe a state of mind that falls within the category. Such as a "psychotic episode."
Schizophrenia is a type of psychosis usually associated with hearing voices that are telling you what to do, and paranoid delusions.
Paranoia is, of course, exactly the type of ideation that you have described.
Your best bet is to see a qualified psychotherapist for more details.

You sound like a tweeker to me. I know because I use to be one. If your on drugs and you can't get off, time for rehab. I am a recovering drug addict/ alcoholic with a diagnosis of schiztophenia. Do you self a favor and get into a 12 step program. Sounds like DRA (Dual Recovery Annoynomous ) would help. Check for details at your local mental health clinic .
