so i asked this guy i have been dating for 2 1/2 months if we are on a break like he told me 2 wks ago or if we are broken up. but all he said was I don't know. just let me know what i should do or what is expected, cuz idk if i can be with other guys or not, and i dont want to either.

ok thanks for everyones opinion but i still really really like him...which is hard for me, and i want to break it off with him in a way but im not to sure since i still like him A LOT! and i was with a guy friend of mine makin out and it didnt seem right.

Did he suggest taking a break?
Some guys will do that because it is easier for them to dump a woman that way.
He said he didn't know, which usually means that he doesn't want you.
Since you still have feelings for him, then your only course of action would be to confront him with how you feel and tell him to make a decision. If he does still want you, then he will tell you then and there. If he doesn't want you, he will stall for more time (a trick that only real jerks do) or tell you that he isn't interested. If you just wait for him, you may certainly lose him to someone else; even if he does want you.

Hun, when a guy says he doesn't know if you are on a break or not, it's because he has another girl on the side and he's waiting to see if it'll work out with her before he goes and dumps you completely.It's his way of having his cake and eating it too. Wake up!
Respect yourself a little more. Tell him you're a girl who likes to know where she's going and you can't just hang in mid-air until he feel like making up his sad little mind. What are you doing getting involved with someone so immature anyway????Real men KNOW what they want and WHERE they're going in life. If he won't give you a straight answer, then I'd assume it's a break-up. You have the right to see other people since he obviously won't tell you what the situation is. Sounds like he needs to get off the fence.

Trty not to worry about it. He doesn't appear to be worrying about it. Just live one day at a time BUT don't mope around waiting for him to come around. Guys don't realize, there are plenty of them to go around and if he's not into you then why wait on him? Usually when you start seeing other people they almost always want to come back. Based on your information provided, I would say we are "broken up". Regardless of whether you are on a break or you are broken up, You are free to date whomever you like. This one you have now is to uncertain.
