The list is as follows: breads, sugar, grains: rice, beans vegetables w starch like corn, sweet peas, mixed vegs. fruits - all. Milk - the more non-fat the more carb it has. Ice cream - look for the non carb variety, the other one is loaded w carbs. Potatoes, Pizza, Pastas - all. Regular Jello - use the non carb variety, cakes - even the ones that says low carb (they contain carb - look at the label). Hot Dogs - if they not all meat Kosher, they contain carbs. All fast food - Pizza, chicken, sandwiches - there is a trick - scrape the topping of pizza, - discard the crust eat the topping, discard the bread from chicken - eat it, sandwiches - discard the bread - eat the other stuff. (Sounds weird, but tastes good!!!).
And when you are having doubts: look at the labels - it should say -0.1 or 0 g of carb per serving.
Also onions and tomatoes have a little bit of carb. Sodas, Ice tea - if it does not say no carb it contains carbs.
To make it easy for you, think opposite, like this: foods that do not contain carbs:
Meats, fish, tuna, cheeses - check the label, green salad, mayo, butter, margarine, oil, whipping cream - cans or fresh (cans have a little more - check the label, salad dressings - the regular kind. Diet Sodas, eggs, ham, coffee - really great w cream and splenda or equal - your choice. Crystal light tastes great and does not contain carbs - my daughers' friend is hypoglicimic and even my daughter loves it.
Hope I helped, if you need additional info check this website: http://www.atkins.com and http://www.lowcarb.ca/ the last site has a carb calc for labels.
Hope I helped you
kisses

Sure.
Carbohydrate comes in two form - complex carbohydrates, such as bread, (any grain actually like rice or oats etc...) and potatoes, here the energy is released slowly and you are fuller longer.
and then there is sugar, which is also a form of carbohydrate, and you know what foods have sugar in them.

Most all foods contain carboyhydrates -- milk, bread, fruit, even meat -- just about anything. What exactly are you looking for? Simple carbs? Complex carbs? You need to modify your question to get a more targeted answer.

There are many carb sources, mostly from grains. Run a search for "sources of carbohydrates" and you'll see what I mean.
