Try the Cat's Protection League. By going through them you can also save money on sorting the kitties' naughty bits out when they get to the relevant age (usually around 6 months).

You've tried all of the legitimate ways, so all I can suggest is that you keep checking the newspapers and ringing the RSPCA. The only other thing I can think of though is perhaps trying other rescue centres or specifically ones that cater for cats in particular. There's also breeders as well, but other than papers or maybe certain sites on the web I'm not sure where you'd find those.
Just be careful when buying pets - don't get any animals from farms where they just breed and breed the same cat (or dog) and try and use only reputable breeders and centres. Best of luck!

Try visiting your local pet stores (or calling around pet stores)! Alot of times they have adoption agencies come in for a day to display rescued kittens (available for adoption) at least at Petco they do! I was searching forever and this past weekend I went to get my older cat some food at Petco and an agency was there where I ended up adopting my 6 month old kitten! Im glad I waited because she is a gem! You could check out craigslist but that is always a toss up... If that is something you consider make sure you meet the pet in advance, get all medical records that the owner or adopter has available (shots, spay/neutered, etc), have it checked over by a vet (asap if you adopt), etc! Note - Craigslist is an adoption option only any one who is trying to sell you an animal on there is violating the rules and regulations! I always check the listings on their but be weary! Kitten season is around the corner things will pick up! I also posted an ad on adpost (with no luck but its free and worth a shot)! Keep checking your local newspapers and call local pet stores to see if any agencies will be visting their location soon! Definatley adopt... The best decision I ever made! Im sure come spring the Humane Society and other related establishments will have kittens! the only thing is if the kitten is spayed or neutered at the Humane Society they do ear clipping (clipping of the tip of the ear for identification purposes... In case the kitten is ever returned they will then know it has been spayed)... My kitten has a clipped ear which Im not happy about but at least I gave her a great home! Please do not declaw your kitten it is inhumane and extremely cruel! Some adoption agencies won't let you adopt if you plan to declaw! Just a little info for you! Good Luck kittens are a wonderful experience! My kitten was a barn kitty rescued and then adopted by me! My male cat was also a barn kitten! Granted there are higher risks of issues with outdoor cats but don't discriminate them because of where they were bred! Both my farm kitties are amazing and obedient but I spend alot of time with them and training!

Hi unfortuantley it's not kitten season. I have just got a six month old tabby female yesterday from a rescue santuary just by chance. I phoned all the local Animal Sanctuaries everyday, they nuter them and everything. Where do you live? Also Put notices up in your local newsagents and your local paper. Gumtree is quite good its an advertisement place where people sell things. Its usually April time for kittens. I know its hard waiting i was there last week and it was awful. Go on interner and put Animal Sancturies in (Wherever you live) and they should all appear. If by any chance you live in Manchester uk email me and i will give you the names of the sancturies. kath0412@hotmail.co.uk. Good luck

If you have a Petsmart near you, inside is an adopting agency called "KITTY ANGELS" where you can find the sweetest kittens. I have brought home 3 from there and they are precious!! You can view some ofmthe available cats/kittens online at www.kittyangels.com
They do tend to put the older ones on there site however. On that website go to "alumni" on the left side of the page and you can see all those kitties that were adopted and how much joy they have brought to their new families!!
Good luck!!

Go to local pet shops & country stores to see if anyone is advertising on the board. This is not the best time of year to be looking for a kitten but you might get lucky.

I can't imagine any problem with finding a kitten a good home. Good luck - put your own advert in the local paper.

Call the local ASCPA or other humane society. They rescue cats and kittens all the time.
