Seriously, what is up with guys and telephones? why doesn't my bf call me???? Guys, why don't you like phones?

Guy's are used to talking to their friends or about business so they usually like to limit calls to about 3 minutes. One thing that sucks with phones is you cannot see any body language and this makes conversations harder especially for people who talk with their hands or use alot of facial expressions. however, not calling at all is a bad sign. i would always at least make a call even if it only lasted 3 minutes you would at least know he is thinking of you. BOL.

Well coming from a guy, I think phones are a waste of time actually. I mean, I'm not much a phone person. I usually use the phone for business purposes or small few minute conversations once in a while but as far as making a living on the phone, just holding it and talking about nothing at all, nah.

I love calling my girl on the phone. We talk about nothing for hours. We just love each others' voices. Most men aren't like that, I am finding out. Some macho thing maybe? Odds are, he's not as into you as you want him to be. Dump the POS and find a nice guy. We're the not-so-bad-boy nerdy types girls look over all the time.

Maybe its just him. My boyfriend calls me all the time when we aren't together. He calls a couple of times through out the day so we can hear each other's voices. Usually we are together after work and spend the night at each others apartments, but if for some reason we don't, he will call me and we'll talk after we get in bed til one of us is too tired to talk anymore. Then we call each other the next morning.

I don't know many men who like talking on the phone. It is not something that we do. Most guys can get everything they want to say in a phone call in about 3 min or less. We'd rather send a quick message or actually talk face to face.

We could ask the same question in reverse - why do gals think their lives are not complete without a phone? Personal contact is much more personal.

Yeh, you're right! What I HATE is, when they say, "I'll call you later............", OR, "I'll call you tomorrow", and it DOESN'T HAPPEN, then you know they either don't like phones or they make promises of all kinds that they can't keep!

Well, like my ex, he just didn't like phones. He didn't know what to say, he preferred face-to-face, etc. That or he was always just busy with his hands. Please don't get any dirty thoughts from that- my ex was a guitarist.
