I am a 28 year old man who recently got divorced. In my experience this man probably wants a relationship with you but he wants to test the waters first. Dont rely on him being around. He may fall in love, he might not. Nature has to take its course, you cant force it. Good luck on your love life and always make sure that he is right for your kids. He probably bought the shoes to show you that he cares about you and your kids. This still doesnt mean that he will want to marry you. God bless.

I guess he likes your kids and he bought your son a pair of shoes? Thats weird. and BIG mistake your intimate with him and he isnt ready for a relationship? Thats bad. ALWAYS make sure a man is totally committed to you before you start sleeping with him. Now your going to burned it sounds like that guy doesn't want to have a relationship any time soon. He could be sleeping with other women that might be one reason he doesn't want a relationship right now. But hey thats just my opinion.

Well, I'm not really sure. With me, I don't bring guys around my daughter UNLESS I'm in a serious relationship with them. I don't want any confusion there. I have only had one man around her, besides her father, maybe he likes kids, maybe he's trying to see if he can handle a ready made family. Why not just ask him. Next time be more selective with who you bring around your son, you never know what people are capable of.

Just because he said he wasn't ready for a relationship doesn't make him a bad person. He sounds like he is both thoughtful and considerate. Give it some time....slowly...... If he's showing this kind of compassion, maybe his feelings are growing.

Just because he isn't ready for a relationship doesn't mean he doesn't want one at all. He sounds like he just wants to take it slow.
He likes kids, great. He likes yours-even better. Feel lucky right now, because if this relationship blossoms, he will be a great male figure for your kids to be around.

Could it be that this man is a CHILD MOLESTER? Why would you take the chance of putting your baby in danger of being SEXUALLY MOLESTED?????????? You should be home with your baby instead of thinking of what YOU want and out giving it up to someone who isn't interested in you! Where is your baby's father, and if he's not in the picture, why would you EVEN think of getting involved with ANYONE instead of concentrating on raising your son.

I would take a step back before you get hurt, and before your child ends up getting attached to this man who doesn't know what he wants from you to begin with. It is no doubt that he must love kids, yours especially, but he does not know if he wants to make the commitment to you. Move on, find somebody who wants the whole package.

he obviously thinks the world of you both, he said "He" isn't ready for a relationship just yet, looks like hes taking it slowly and probably wants to be sure and especially if you have a 2 year old.

Maybe he just likes kids and wants some his self one day. Try talking to him seriously about your feelings and concerns and maybe you can figure your questions out directly from him. Good luck!
