I got my peircing last thursday I was told by the guy who did it to wash my hands before touching it and not ot play with it to much both of which I have been good on. But he also said to use triple anti- ointment and I was told by a friend of mine to use bactine because the ointment just seals the infection. well I have been using the bactine and its going red what else should I do? I don't want it to get badly infected.
Also I know your not supposed to take it out but I would like to for a minute so I can clean the whole thing, but when the guy put it on he tightend it really hard not hurting me just twisting hard on the ring But now the the top wont come off. am I not trying hard enough or is this a problem.

Which way are you supposed to turn it and it is supposed to come off easy. I don't want to hurt myself or the peircing?

Please give you opinion on both if you can

have i have had mine picered for about six months and you do not have to use any oniment all u have to use is anti bacterial soap that will be fine but do not take it all the way out for about 2 months but what u can do to make sure it is clean is use a cutip and put achol and proxide on the tip and just put it up under the belly ring and press it ahainst ur stomatch then wash off with water you should be fine and it wil turn red for about three weeks then should begin to heal if you have any other questions you can e-mail me at erikal_2010@yahoo.com

When I got my bellybutton pierced the same thing happened! It got so infected I had to take the ring out and let it heal and then get it repierced. Go to the grocery store and get sea salt. Mix a small amount with some warm water in a shot glass. Hold that on your bellybutton for a few minutes. Do this at least twice a day. I would use the antibacterial cream too, It worked for me. I would leave the jewelry in and see if this works.

i have mine done, use a teaspoon of rock salt in boiled water, leave to cool and rinse over your peircing!

Then lay down and fill your belly button with almond oil it a natural healer! Then rinse again with the rock salt water.

It must be rock salt!

Do not use any cream at all!

Had mine done a year ago in blue banana! it healed a treat! never had any problems with it.
