Strut Bearing had to be replaced in my car. I am waiting for my warranty to be transferred onto my name. It would take a couple of weeks from now. Meanwhile, is it safe to drive for a minimum required distance just for regular work? Does it affect any other parts or the engine or fuel efficiency or whatever?

It should be ok drive if it's only the strut bearing. However, it could be something else too, unless you have taken it to a mechanic to have it checked out. It could be a ball joint, CV axle, Sping, or Shock, or even a Stabilizer bushing. Most of these will not prevent you from driving it, but you may expeirience bump steer, worn tires or vibrations.
