My sons nails have stopped growing. And I don't know why I have not had to trim them for a good 6 months. Does anyone know why this is?

Low circulation in the toes could be a factor, but then they should appear purplish in colour, so since you don't mention that it probably isn't.

Either He's not getting enough nutrients like Vitamin E and C or he has a nail fungus. Put him on some vitamins and make sure he drinks his milk. If nothing changes take him to the doctor but i think its really a nutrition thing.
Just keep monitoring him. I know that rubbing lotion on and pushing back the cuticles stimulates nail growth. You can try that too

Low calcium? Check how much he consumes! I could see it with the fingernails if he's an active little boy but the toenails should then still be growing. Is he lacking on Vitamin B complex?
It's always good to give them a once-a- day vitamin.

Probably a nutritional deficiency. Give him a good children's multvitamin and make sure he is eating healthfully - lots of fruits, veggies, meats, milk, nuts, whole grains.
