I've used the Internet (locally, not for someone in Tempe, Boseman or London) and softball, but at 27 I would like to meet someone who may share my interests: reading, writing, being outdoors, ice hockey, doing nothing some days, etc. I feel so old for all this right now. Any suggestions?

Try to meet someone in a place that you'd like to go with them. If you like ice hockey and you want to meet someone who likes ice hockey, try to join a local club or team. If you like reading, go to a local bookstore and/or library. If you like writing, try to go to a writing class or a writer's place (little storefront type of place for writers to sit and read or write in peace or with help from other writers). Join groups that take trips outdoors. Also try meet up groups. I think it's a website for people of similar interests to meet others in their cities with the same interests. (www.meetup.com).
Good luck. I would also suggest that you go do these things not just for the sake of meeting someone but also because these are things that you really enjoy. I hope it all goes well for you.

I would like the answer to that question also. I have No idea where to go after a long realtionship I feel its so hard to find someone else.

Get a cute puppy and take it for walks in the park.... it will help break the ice and find you a nice girl.
How about volunteering? or the gym?
