If I was to have a vote, then no.
Cultural difference alone would be so different that "good morals" would not/could not be agreed upon.

Most religions already have the same basic beliefs of what sin is!
All people would be better off to "grow their own garden" and offer up their sacrifices.
In a sense of the analogy. God rewards faith and righteousness and works, good deeds and a spirit of Love. He is no respector of persons Yet, He exalts those who do such things.
The bible is NOT complete truth by itself, it is more like primary kindergarten book. It definitely isnt a "university" type book. But the gospel of Jesus Messiah is contained therein, and is enough to bring a person to have Faith. There are many good things in every religion, and i would believe that Jesus believed everything that is true and according to some history books He was the first one to greet STRANGERs and learn of their ways,
but there is one Part of God that says KILL and utterly destroy, that is ONE TYPE OF a MORAL, and there is another Part of Jesus which said FOLLOW PEACE, HARM NO ONE.
War is for defending against Invading Armies, NOT for Armies to INVADE.
So it is good to know All things that are taught to be true and holy and righteous. For truly God will accept From all nations the people that Fear Him and do works of righteous.

I was just thinking that yesterday. I tried to ask it but it didn't post. That was where I was trying to lead when I asked if we could discuss religion philosophically.
I believe that it would be best if we did that. Come up with a list of universally accepted "truths". No mention of gods or angels or anything. Just interpretations of our observations from different perspectives.
That way those of us with open minds can study it and reflect on it. We would have to keep it out of the hands of fundies though. It may cause a psychotic break.

Who decides which morals are good or bad... I think that poses a problem, as some of those "morals" are a bit messed up when you ask one person, but they're completely acceptable to others. Who decides which morals are the good ones?

People would still argue over what was good. Some people think original sin and divine judgement encourage morality.

I think that would make the world a place that is much less free of judgement. Religion plays a huge role in conflicts in society!

Not another Book. We have laws and a court system. We all know right and wrong in our own hearts. No more books.

What good are morals if they are not applied along with the true word of God through obedience to His word daily? We must obey God's word and live according to it every day. We must accept Jesus as our Savor, repent of our sins, rid ourselves of our sinful ways, and turn our lives over to the Lord.
Good moral values alone will not get you into heaven, without you securing your savlation through accepting Jesus as your personal savior and obeying God's word.
For those who think being a good person alone will get themselve into heaven, they are lying to themselves and will not get into heaven without going through Jesus.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus shed His blood and died for our Salvation, and with out accepting Jesus and what He did for you, you will not get into heaven.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
