You need to discuss this with your GP - do you usually walk very little? If you're not used to waking much then suddenly walking a lot may tire you out more. Also check your footwear is comfortable and of proper fit - properly padded trainers are usually best...

Odds are that it is the muscles in your legs, below is an example of what is contained in the book referenced at the end that teaches what to do.
Pain can be referred from places other than the head. This deals with headaches but the principle works for all kinds of pain.
Muscles get knots called trigger points. These make the muscles tight causing them to press on nerves and other thing.
#1 The first thing is to take a couple swigs of molasses or eat a couple of bananas. They contain magnisium and potassium both of which muscles need.
#2 WATER she should be drinking 1/2 gallon minimum. The head of neurology at UCDavis likens a body running low on water to a car running low on oil (the engine can seize).
Get a good (deep tissue) massage (to loosen the trigger points) on the back, shoulders and neck. Make sure to press up at the base of the skull where it meets the spine.
You rub or lightly scratch everywhere on your head. You will hit spots that are tender these are trigger points. The idea is to rub across them 6-12 times per session up to six times per day until they go away.
For more information on trigger points read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.

Ehm..
I found many interesting info about sciatica here: http://curesciatica.toptips.org

While looking for a miracle cure, it has to be understood that sciatica pain in itself is not a disease. It is actually a symptom or a group of symptoms with an underlying cause that needs to be targeted if some sort of permanent pain relief is what one is looking for. But one thing is absolutely clear. Incorporating a few exercises that have a beneficial effect on sciatica pain in daily regime is of great help and whether a patient is taking drugs or not, these exercises ensure that his muscles are kept in a toned condition that lessen any flare up of pain. Just a few stretching exercises can bring about a drastic change in the levels of pain and signify the importance of exercise in the management of sciatica pain.
Bye Bye

I cured my sciatica with this natural treatment http://cure-sciatica.info
Normally, I would not answer a question like this as my expertise is generally in medication but I had severe sciatica while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (after having had twins) and I had sciatica so bad that I was finding it difficult to walk. I tried massage therapy and physical therapy and could not take medication
I went to the chiropractor and the pain was instantly relieved. My hips and lower back were out of alignment because I had carried twins the year before. On occasion a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) can also work but they usually only work on one joint at a time - the chiropractor will do your whole back which works faster. Anyone who does not believe in chiropractors will tell you they are quacks - don't listen.
I don't necessarily believe that chiropractors can cure things like diabetes but they can definitely relieve some types of back pain especially if a pinched nerve is involved which is usually the cause of sciatica.

I know I had pubic bone pain when they would take a measurement for fundal height. The Dr. said of course it hurts, it's very tender and soft. I believe the bones especially pelvic soften as to seperate to prepare for birth. We all feel things different. I had terrible hip discomfort @ 36-38 weeks. Always double check with your dr. though so they can monitor you! Good Luck :)

Bone pain is seen less commonly than joint pain and muscle pain.

Whatever the source, bone pain should always be taken seriously. You should seek medical attention any time you experience bone pain.

Ask your doctor about an exercise routine. Regular exercise, such as walking three times a week, may reduce neuropathy pain, improve your muscle strength and help control blood sugar levels. Gentle routines such as yoga and tai chi might also help.

One possibility is poor arterial bloods supply to your leg, or venous drainage from the area. Could also be diabetes mellitus which increases susceptibility to blood vessel disease and skin infections. Leg ulcers can also develop due to neglecting an infected small wound.
