Or even refer that he is omnipotent. I read there have been a few things he could not overpower, such as he can not lie, or chariots of iron, and he can not sin to list a few, but I have not read that he is omnipotent.

If He created the world, then he can destroy it. That makes him omnipotent. It doesn't need to be written anywhere.
