I believe there are many ways to heaven, and that every religion has truth. In fact, people don't want to believe this, but in most of the major religions there are more similarities than differences. For example, almost every religion has a form of the Golden Rule (do unto others as you would have them do unto you). I don't think you are doomed, I think you're open minded.

A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet. Here is how I see it,Most people believe in a God/Goddess/higher power or Devine being...Some of us believe in reincarnation(I do)and I feel that each of us worships the same entity only by different names. Also if infact we are reincarnated I believe it is for the evolution of one's soul.Meaning we are here to learn and continue to come back until we have all of the knowledge that this higher power or entity which ever name you choose to call it/him/her or they has intended for us to learn.I believe so long as you have faith and are good at heart you will return to the place from which you once came whether it is Heaven /the other side or whatever you may choose to call it,It is infact the same place for all of us.Even those who do not believe in a higher power of some sort will return to this place. It is not a sin to be unknowing,it could be part of the learning experience for those individuals.I believe it is self righteous for anyone to believe that their religion will send them on to a better place in the afterlife but then judge other people and say that those individuals will not be "saved".Whatever religion you choose just remember you are a follower not the leader and you are not the one to pass judgement on anyone else worry about yourself and the evolution of your own soul.

You are probably doomed because you are Muslim. but not because of your religion. Other religions cant help. Not because there is truth in all religions but because there is no religion in which there is truth. You will have better luck if you give up on all religion and just think about it for awhile.

I don't know. No one else knows. If we had complete knowledge of God there would be no reason for faith. And God wants us to seek and have faith to find him.
I don't understand how God would turn down the attempts of an honest seeker who puts faith and hope in him by any name.
I love the example that religion is like a mirror held up to the sun. It reflects only a little part of the suns great light. Perhaps each creator focused religion (not cults) is a mirror reflecting a part of God's vastness.
Have quite time of contemplation, prayer and meditation on your purpose with thankfullness to your creator for the life you are given so he may speak to your heart and soul then you will find the way to him.

Doomed as long as you stay rigid in any belief system. The more rigid you are the more likely you will snap if something happens to conflict with what you believe but appears to be more true to you.
The more of an open mind and heart you can keep the more flexible you will be.
I have found throughout my years that the answers to all questions lie in the small voice that is within us all if we stay quiet long enough to hear it. The creator I have found is very polite and will not interrupt us as long as we keep talking.
So ask the questions in quiet reflection, go into the silence and wait upon the answer. Be open to however it shows up and know that source energy, Allah, God, Yahweh, Elohim, the Great I AM will never fail you.

That is a question people have been asking for centuries, and while no one really knows for certain about anything religious-wise, all religions in the world toda had at least one common starting ground, and they all more or less reflect on sharing the same beliefs of a higher mpower in form or another, so personally I don't think it matters what religion you choose as long as you are spiritually comfortable.

The truth in every religion are those things which they have in common which are the love rules and the guild lines for treating ppl. With that said No religion leads to a place which is a figment of the imagination. You are the only person that is condemning yourself. Give yourself a chance to live life without the repression of religion (whichever it may be)
Kill your GOD, Free your mind.
-Amen

No, I do not believe you are doomed. I don't know exactly what Muslim's believe. But the Bible says that the only way to Heaven is through Jesus. If you believe that Jesus was the Son of God, and died for our sins, that is your entry into Heaven.

Religion is not the goal. It just provide a platform to reach higher levels of existence.
If one keeps holding onto the religion. One can never experience higher levels of existence.
Heads of the religion can never experience higher levels of existence. Its unfortunate that they try too hold up other seekers too with them.

Check out "The Gospel Of Shri Ramakrishna" who claimed to find God and Salvation thru practicing Hinduism, Christianity, AND Islam. You may find some info or answers there that are helpful. (It is basically a bibliography of the Indian holy man). Allah guide you on your quest for understanding and grant you peace and wisdom.
