I am very hardworking, intelligent and dedicated but incredibly shy and I would prefer something where I do not have to do a lot of talking. I like doing. I am only halfway through a 3 year course but as a mature student who left social work to do it, I realise this is not for me. I do not want to return to social work though.
I am good with my hands and very pretty, so people tell me but I am a Mum and no longer have the bod for modelling also I getting older, 28. I would like a job that requires being fashionable, looking good etc but well paid and suitable for someone who is getting older and ok with it.
Thank you so much in advance I am really hoping for some helpful answers as I am stuck. I will definitly choose a best answer.

Are you artistic? I am guessing you are. Take a course in cake decorating. A lot of community ed classes offer these. Surprising but true is the fact that bakery's pay well for good cake decorators and it is a lot less stress then hair dressing. The major chain stores offer good benefits too.

Excited about seeing a child shot--doesn't sound--nice! I'm more like intrigued by the possibilities that could come from it. It would be a great way to showcase some really good performances IF it happens. They chickened out on the Morgan storyline. I don't think they would paralyse a child! I read he goes into a coma. Dylan Cash is reported leaving the show and Michael will have aged when he awakes from the coma.

If you like children, do daycare in your home. You can make really good money. If you are somewhat of an entrepreneur, open a small purse store. Sell cute knock off designs. We have a store like that in our area and it does very well, the owner is young 25-30 and she has a small boy (toddler) she brings with her. It is so cute he is always playing and in the front window. People get a big kick out of it. Her space is small, so she prob. does not have high rent. Though it is right on the downtown shopping strip that has many cute specialty stores. Hope these ideas help.

Become hair stylist consultant.
You can even have your own website. Get some business cards.
You have to do something you really and truly know that you will love to do for a long time.

Have people send you a picture of themselves.
There are programs on the net that you can use to place different hairstyle on people.
You can even help them with their body type...and offer them different types of fashion styles that would suit them.
You can offer your services to bridal shows.
Business women.
Just brain storm, and especially have fun in what your doing, and really believe in what you do, and it will sell.
This can be a real venture for you, if you approach it right.
Owining your own business offer you a lot of rewards.

you could work with people over the phone or on computer doing customer service.does talking to people you can't see bother you as well? you can be very creative and do anything you want you are only stopped by your inagination. if being shy is a broblem then break out of your shell, maybe a job working with people is what you need. do you want to be a wall flower all your life?? life is much more fun in the game than on the side lines.

Have you ever thought of being a leasing consultant for an apartment complex? You can work your way up to management if you set your mind to it. Hours are better, pay is better, and you're not on the hot seat to talk all the time.
