about two years ogo a got a ferrel kitten, i had a female cat who was eight years old at the time, the kitten didnt bother with anybody just hide all the time untill we all went to bed, then would come out of hiding, the kitten got a little more friendly in time, and might have looked up to my female cat as his mother, but i dont think so, because he always tried to hurt her but there was no growling involved just bitting, she died 8 months ogo threw cancer, , my ferral started howling threw the night, so i thought he was lonley, so i got a female kitten, he hasnt stopped howling, and he really gets on with the kiiten who is now 6months old, but he has taught the kitten to howl as well, so both cats howl for at least an hour, when i go to bed, and sometimes they start up again in the small hours of the morning, help please x

i am not sure what the solution is for this situation! however, might i suggest making a bed for your kitty....for my cats i have two separate beds. one has a kitty bed purchased at wal-mart for like $10 and it is in the closet on a shelf. the other cat has a bed on the window sill...it is made out of a cardboard box and i put some old blankets in it. then, i sprinkled it with cat-nip...he loves it! this might give your cat a comfortable place to sleep. in addition, cats are creatures of habit and can be "trained" to do certain things so you might want to bring your cats to bed with you every night. hopefully, the cat will get used to the routine and then sleep right along with you at night!

ought to your cat have an ailment? Cats are very susceptible to Bladder/kidney infections. this would nicely be a possibiltiy. Or he would in simple terms be being a soreness interior the rear and annoying that, because he's up, you need to be up with him too. Cats are the most complicated "mentally" of any of our pets. they're smart and they imagine. it really is what makes it so confusing. Is his foodstuff dish empty on the prompt interior the morning. Do you provide him a particular deal with interior the am to eat. many human beings provide their cats moist cat foodstuff interior the morning and the dry in the course of the day. He would pick his foodstuff now! does he pass outdoors? He would favor to pass out if he's used to this. i wish he's not crying for his kit you had bumped off slightly in the past! hehe. (I advise his testies). in the different case in simple terms save attempting issues to make sure what he needs. trust it or no longer, animals bear in thoughts trauma. Getting "fastened" will be very irritating for them. He would in simple terms favor some more suitable love and reassurance that you're there and could no longer enable absolutely everyone harm him lower back. provide him time and love. save attempting to make sure even if it really is somethig else he would favor, yet relax, the further you rigidity - the further he will.

He definetly misses your female cat. Try having him lay in bed with you at night or at least in the same room, maybe he won't be as lonely.

They howl when they're looking for someone. It may be your former pet, and it may be you. Do you let them come in with you at night? If they can be with someone, they may stop howling.
