There are a few performance aftermarket shops that actually make a supercharger that will fit the 5.7L Hemi and 6.1L Hemi. I know a few people that have done this to there Magnum R/T AWD's and it has not caused any issues with there drivetrain.
I used to own a 05 Magnum RT AWD and thought of this option but with cost for aftermarket horsepower was not worth it to me and I sold my AWD R/T and purchased a SRT8 Magnum and got a better bang for my Dollar for performance and comfort. The only draw back was I lost the AWD for the winter season. However, I got a beater Honda Prelude to get me around in the winter as I don't want my SRT8 to see any salt or rock chips from winter driving.
If you want more information on the Supercharger for the 5.7L Hemi check out the link below it is a site specifically for the LX platform vehicles (300's, Magnum's & Charger's).

Depends on how many pounds of boost you are running, if you are running something higher than 10# of boost, eventually you will blow out the lower end of your engine and have to get it replaced, usually with forged internals which aren't cheap. But adding a supercharger is very costly, alone the supercharger unless you can find a used one is gonna run around 4-5 grand, and then you have to pay someone to install it and tune it correctly which takes a good amount of time, even for the experts. Look to spend maybe 7-8 grand total for the supercharger and to install and tune it. And make sure you have someone install it who knows what they are doing, they are alot of work and aren't the easiest to do. But yes it can be done, just about anything can be done, it just depends on how much $$$$ you have to spend.

No, but expect to spend extra money on filling the gas tank.
