Are shopping malls open in the DC area on a Sunday? If so, till what time?

I am looking for ones that are accessible by public transport/metro.

Yes they are open, generally until 6PM. Movie theaters and restaurants generally later.

I don't know call metro, but watch out they are killing pedestrians left and right !
