you need to learn how to meditate and deep breathe.
1) Use your belly to breathe. When you inhale(always do so through the nose), let your belly blow up, rather than your chest stick out. When you exhale, push the air through the bottom of your belly, as almost if you were pushing it out of your rear. Practice this breathing every day as often as you can, for as long as you can.
2)Read all you can about meditation, relaxation, and sleeping remedies on the internet. knowledge is power! plus you are more likely to get a better idea of what can be done in multiple aspects
3)do not drink caffeine past 3 p.m. and be aware of this!

every night before you go to sleep try meditating, deep breathing, amd relaxation techniques. i encourage you to also read abotu self hypnosis techniques, as those can easily put you to sleep too

I suggest a little exercise on top of the breathing/meditating mentioned above. A little run now and then, muscle control and reinforcement using weights, and then long and light stretching. Google "somatic muscle control" for some good advice.
I was completely insomniac for 8 months 3 years ago.
Since seeing a chiropractor, enhancing my physical condition and relaxation capacity, I now sleep like a baby and that for the past 2 years....
