My boyfriend and I were together for 10 months. We had a lot of prblems so we broke up. When we did he threatened to kill me. I told my mom and she talked to his people. We have talked a few times since then and he said he didnt mean it and he wants to get back together. I love him and I want to be with him but should i trust him.

Stay clear. Just the fact that he let his anger/hurt get the best of him like that let's you see the real him. When you do something he doesn't like or say something that makes him mad you won't know what to expect, eventually you could end up being in an abusive relationship and too afraid to leave. Find someone who knows how to react appropriately to what life hands them. Good luck and God Bless.

Why would you want to get back with a guy who threatened to kill you? What did his family say, anyway? What type of behavior has he distributed at home? I would love to meet his ex-girlfriends and male friends and see what they have to say. How about his sisters if he's got any? What is wrong with this nutcase? Well, Chris married four times looking for love.. Her 20 year-old daugher married in '06) Ari wouldn't give her and came up with nothing. She also got lots of plastic surgery. This woman was around during the Beatles era. She should've know that money can't buy her love.

If you want to be in an abusive relationship, okay.
This guy threatened to kill you. It doesn't matter whether he was joking or not. If you let him back in, he will know that you will let him do anything to you.
To put this in really simple terms...
You let him become your boyfriend again.
Now he knows that he can beat you and threaten to kill you because he already told you he would do it and you still let him back in your life again. Therefore, you want him to do it.
I'm sorry, and I know that sounds bad, but I have actually seen it happen. That is how some men think. As long as you let them in, then you are telling them that you want to be beaten.

Don't go back to him. I don't care if he said he didn't mean it. Do you think he would admit that he did mean it if he wanted you two to get back together? Even if he's not capable of of actually killing someone, do you really want to be with a guy who doesn't think twice before blurting things out like that? When I was younger I used to date a guy that threatened to kill himself when I broke up with him. I stood my ground and he's still alive. I'm not going to let any guy guilt me or threaten me into submission.

No. There are plenty of people out there. He sounds like a psycho. Find yourself a nice man who doesn't have a violent streak. Count yourself lucky that he never did anything so far. RUN the other way too many women end up saying he said he'd never do it.

I came from a relationship like this a couple years ago. Don't go back... Trust me. Once they threaten you, they will keep on and on, and things will get violent.
