not a good idea the sugar will not dissolve and you'll have a bad crunchy texture every time you take a bite. its a bad consistency.

INGREDIENTS
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, or to taste
2 tablespoons orange flavored liqueur, or to taste

DIRECTIONS
Cut the tops off of the strawberries and stand upright on the cut side. Make a cut 3/4 of the way down from the tip of the strawberry towards the bottom.
Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and liqueur until smooth in a mixer or a food processor. Place into a piping bag with a star tip. Pipe into each strawberry and arrange on a serving platter.

Just take it easy on the sugar, and try powdered sugar instead. Good idea!! Add maybe 2-3 teaspoons milk to the cream cheese to make it easier to add the strawberries.

Well, certainly, you can do it and it sounds pretty good to eat. I love strawberries and cream cheese so it sounds okay to me.

Here's something you might want to try with the strawberries.

Use sour cream. Sweeten it up with sugar to a sweetness that you like. Then dip the strawberries in the sour cream as you eat them. Sort of like a chip & dip but done with Strawberries.

Good Luck!

Adding regular sugar to the strawberries will pull the moisture out of hte strawberries and they will be syrupy. I would add powdered sugar to the cream chesse and put the strawberries and sugar on the top and it will have the apperance or taste of a none bake cheesecake.

if you have a mixer, put the cream cheese in and 1 tablspoon sugar and make it a soft nice cream. Add the strawberries and if you have some cake to put it over (vanilla or chocolate or brownies) it will be perfect.

Try the strawberries topped with the cream cheese and some fresh milled black pepper, although sour cream is better.

Do as you like and enjoy! Each to his own taste.
But sugar + fat is very fattening. So take care of the amount you mix.
