Let's clarify a few things: First, "most liberals" don't hate Bush. "Most liberals" think of Bush as a dangerously inept, underqualified mediocrity who's in the pockets of such corporate manipulators as Halliburton, EXXON-Mobile and that ilk, but they don't hate him. "Most liberals" wish him a long and pleasant retirement, but would not support him if he were atheist, Jew, Hindu, Muslim, Druid, or anything else.

There is some question as to Bush's vaunted "Christianity." A number of people find it a cynical, shallow pretense that allows him to pander to a great many Americans.

Your pastor has a bit of a political axe to grind, and has confused Christianity with some ill-considered,. Limbaughesque, pseudo-religious ravings.

All one need do to persuade the great American public to follow along on a destructive course, it would appear, is to make one's religion a public display of Tartuffian piety, and pontificate about "family values." Such behavior grants the poser license to raid the treasury for the benefit of his corporate "base."

Most liberals are Christians--and we don't like Bush because he doesn't act like a Christian is supposed to act.

And neither does your pastor, obviously. Lying is not Christian.

No, it's because Bush uses Christianity for political means.

Christianity does not equal the Republican party as your pastor apparently believes.

Bush is not a strong Christian based on his policies if he is one at all. When will Christians wake up and realize that the kingdom we belong to is not of this world and stop mixing politics with their religion?

His healthful woodland act is a thank you to shrink down wood. He grandfathered a gaggle of previous factories that pollute the air greater.

Bush isn't a Christian. Dude, it was a dubious act to get the fundamentalists out to vote.

Your pastor is a fool then. People don't like Bush because of his behavior, not because of his belief system.

Know I really do not care about what a mans religion is. I hate bush because he is pigheaded and not to bright. Advisers are there to advise you shouldn't fire people for doing their job. But hey what do I know.

Your pastor is a filthy liar, and this particular lie is so transparently false that you shouldn't have had to ask about it.
