muslims,i think you all already informed that men can marry women who is 'people of the book',which mean people who receive holy book before quran,for example christians who receive bible (tawrat/tawrah/torah).but christian today believe bible,which muslims say it actually corrupted tawrat/tawrah/torah.so,can they can still be called 'people of the book' and be married with muslim men?

Man can marry people of the book but take in account that the Quran is talking about the beliefs of Isa (as) when he was alive & the bible cannot be considered one of the books because it has been changed by men & it is no longer the words from God to Isa(as), the same applies to the the torah (The words from God to Moses(as) was changed by the jewish people) & the same would apply to the Zaboor (Dawood (as) his words were also changed by the Sabians)
So the Jews , sabians & christians cannot be considered people of the book because if they followed the books correctly according to thier Prophets each book would have eventually led them to the Holy Quran becuase Muhammed (saw) was mentioned in all the Holy books but the jews & christians chose not to believe what thier prophets told them instead they systematically removed that information from thier books.
However if you would like to marry a women that is not muslim - you can, as long as she is willing to convert to Islam & accept Islam in her heart & become a proper muslim women.

The people of the book refers to the Christian who beliefs in OLD Injil ( OLD BIBLE ) after Tawrat and Zabur. During that time the original injil was accepted by all. However, ALLAH replaced Injil ( Old Bible) with Alquran after the content in the Bible was tampered. As such, henceforth, all those who still preach from the Old Bible and did not accept Alquran is referred as " People of the book. " However, today the Bible is no longer authentic.

This interpretation of the quran has left people doing some really bad things in the name of converting the person of the book.
People in western countries warn their wives not to marry muslim men so:
1. the wife is not forced to accept a religion she doesnt want to.
2. at certain times the mans treatment doesnt change even after she becomes muslim. i.e. the man still goes out with his male friends alot, treats the woman like shes some maid around the house and a lot of other things surface.
As if all this man knows, is to marry a person of the book, but nothing more about his religion, about how he needs to treat his wife right, about human rights etc etc
The case becomes so absurd I know of women who have converted and divorced their husbands and leave islam permanently because they found out he cheated on them (this is a muslim man)
As far as am concerned, religion should play a vital role in guiding your life positively. A lot of trouble could be averted if people watch out for the human rights in every situation, because whether theyre atheists or not, theyre still human.

Christians are considered people of the book, although muslims believe it is not the original copy and it has been changed ,but a muslim woman cannot marry a christian man unless he becomes a muslim, but a muslim man can marry a christian woman.

Yes,and what do you think, it wasn't corrupted in the time of Muhammad (pbuh) ?,no it was corrupted,that's why Muhammad came because it was corrupted,yet god gave us the license to marry them,they believe in god,they are better than atheists anyway,and there is a chance that she would convert after marriage when she see how great is Islam.
