You should just go to the website of the company that makes the radiator and contact them, they'd probably be more than glad to guide you through the manufacturing process and give you a list of materials. They would know best how to answer your questions.

It's pressed steel welded together in two halves. I'm sure there's a "How it's made" episode on Discovery that features them.
