So like a week ago i got this girls number at party for work. i waited and called like 2 days later, we talked for like 30 minutes. I mean i was pretty sure she was into me by her body language and all that, so we kinda (not officially) made plans for this week. I told her to call me when she got back in town from spending a weekend out of state and she never did. so i finally texted her, not specifically asking about us going out, but just to see whats up. Now all of a sudden she has exams all this week and she has to study ( which isnt too unbelievable because its the middle of the semester (mid terms), and i havent seen her at work so far this week. I mean i dont like bug her or anything but i mean how far do girls like guys to go when chasing them? I dont usually chase girls, i have an older sis and she always says how she hates it when guys do. Maybe give her the benefit of the doubt? Call her again? Let her call me (if she ever does)?

Yes, perhaps give her the benefit of the doubt and call her one more time. If nothing develops I would move on.
As a side note it is usually the gentlemans role to pursue and the lady's role to give opportunity to do so, if she is interested.
