Are you joking? Blair HAS just done the smartest thing possible. He is killing his connection with 'Curious George"! I think that if I am been able to, I might move to Britain. I swear, Bush is the worst thing that has happened to this country. And he's got the religious right on his side! Ha! I mean Hello?!?!?! "Beware the False Prophet"! Bah, this guy is a retard. I can understand why he is disconnecting himself from America.
Oh yeah dude, not Iran, but Iraq.

The troops went into Iraq on a pack of lies and they're going to leave on a pack of lies that will try to pretend our mission in southern Iraq is done.
Blair will use the withdrawal to suggest that his policy has worked and Iraq is now in the hands of Iraqi's.
In reality, Iraq is in rubble and southern Iraq is run by Shia warlords that are under the control of Iran.
Last month British troops destroyed a Police prison to rescue people from being massacred by a totally corrupt Police death squad. Now we're told everything is going well and Iraqi's are taking over.
It's Blair's effort to pretend Iraq worked and also lets him re-group the troops in preparation for invading Iran.

I am assuming you meant Iraq not Iran. Of course it is just a coincidence that the Welsh and Scottish elections are in May. Whilst I don't think we should ever have got involved in Iraq on a lot of spurious evidence from Bliar and Bush I welcome getting our troops home. The sooner this happens the better.
Perhaps the light will also dawn on Afghanistan which is another unwinnable war where invaders have left with their tails between their legs for centuries.

You mean Iraq!
Its not a coincidence nor that the B Troops have completed their functtion there. Its simply the poodle has realised that if he doesn't do it now his successor will certainly do and that will be a very bad thing on his legecy, which is already in a shamble.
The poodle has learnt the hard way! His Master has been on the firing line to bring back the innocents Americans!
All the best!/

May elections are no coincidence. Regrettably, neither is the announcement that 3000 has been reduced to something over 1000 which also, strangely, coincides with further troops off to Afghanistan, including my nephew!

It coincides very nicely with the local elections in May doesn't it. Don't be fooled by this, its just a ploy to gain crediblity in the run up. Our troops are heroes but were sent on false pretences, losing their lives just so Bush can get to their oil. Come election time, don't vote Labour.

my hubby has also been out there since Nov last year and was due back then anyway, it would be better if Tony Blair brought the troops home earlier than that then he would be doing something, hes just getting praise for something that was already going to happen

When did the British troops go to IRAN?
Unless this is part of some clandestine operation you are mistaken. Check your data.
