Subscribe to some language site (spanish.about.com, french.about.com, etc). Learn new words or phrases daily. Join a language course and interact with native speakers (very very important! Without this, your knowledge will just be theoretical). Buy a language learning cd (I highly recommend the Learning Company series.) Watch shows/movies in that language. Listen to music in that language.
