Crisps are what our UK friends call potato chips. BUT, they are different because they have a GREAT variety of flavors. We have a British Store here and I cannot get enough of prawn or steak and onion crisps. Then again, I HATE that store as I cannot walk out without spending $50-100 on candy, ales, bacon, bangers....
...anyone who has said British cuisine is bad has never eaten it! Matter of fact, I'm having bubble and squeek for lunch!

They are potato chips. What you call fries, we call chips over here. Gotta add, my favourites are walkers crisps, love Worcester sauce flavour.
