I don't drink to get drunk. I've been on my meds for 6 months now and have never drank while on them. I'm just wondering if I'll be ok if I casually drink.

Oh my god. Hun, I am SO sorry. You totally should not drink on them. Those pills are bad for you anyways, don't add alcohol. My suggestion, non alcoholic daiquiris.

Well from what I read, you are really screwed up!! Sorry but drinking is not recomended while taking Prozac alone because it could make you pass out or even kill you. As for Buspar, according to a few sites you may drink but do it cautiously since it may make you more dizzy or drowsy than usual. You should not mix either Prozac or Buspar with any antidepresants and to tell you the thruth, I think you should find something to eat or drink to replace your drinking habits.
Good luck and hopefuly you don't need this drugs for too long so you can drink again!!

i don't think one drink will hurt, no medical experience here, but i wouldn't make a habit of it, alcohol increases the effect of your meds, i have had a drink while on mine but then again everyone is different, your doctor will tell you not to though, good luck to you, have a safe n happy day!!
