No, the hebrew numbering system is similar to roman numbering. For example, X is 10 in roman, but XXX isn't 101010, it's 10 + 10 + 10 = 30. In the same way WWW (or the hebrew equivalent vav vav vav) doesn't equal 666, it's in fact 6 + 6 + 6 = 18

There is no Hebrew equivalent to the letter W.

The closest thing is the letter Vav, which is equivalent to the letters V, O and U.
The numeral value of the letter Vav (that is the sixth letter in the Hebrew alphabet) is 6, but the combination of Vav Vav Vav (ווו) is 18 (6+6+6).
The letters that represent the number 666 are Thav [ת= 400], Reish [ר= 200], Samech [ס= 60], Vav [ו= 6].

I put www into a Hebrew-English online dictionary. What I got was " המקושרים ביניהם ומפוזרים על שרתים ברחבי העולם ", also known as the "World Wide Web".

The jews use it as a prefix to internet sites. You can see an example of this by looking at the top of your browser.......shoot, that doesn't work (http://answers.yahoo.com)

Well if you go to any jewish website it will almost always start with www.
