I swear that my MacMillan nurse and others like her are angels sent on earth to help very sick people. She is so calm, so gentle and understanding and has an ethereal quality about her. Do you think angels truly exist amongst us sent from heaven to help mere mortals or am I just being too imaginative?

We all have a guardian angel I believe.My angel must have been extra patient having to look after me. I should have died many times.
I'm sorry to hear you have cancer. The Macmillan nurses are fantastic. They looked after my mum before she died.

There are many references to angels in the Old and New Testaments, but the fact that some of them are rebels set against God's will only becomes clear in the New Testament, before that you do see supernatural beings resisting God's angels in Daniel, and Satan the adversary doing bad things in Job and Zechariah, but ultimately serving God's purposes.
A few people, mostly in the newer christian denominations, can actually discern the presence of angels, and different kinds. They are involved in worship, protection and healing, and probably lots of things, as ministering spirits. This is because the Azusa street revival in 1904, which started off the pentecostal denominations, brought knowledge of the supernatural gifts in 1 Corinthians 12 etc back into the church to a large degree. This knowledge has slowly been spreading back into the older denominations in the last 100 years, even the most ritualistic ones. Check out the interview with Gary Oates on www.sidroth.org. Todd Bentley is another guy I have heard who has had healing angels assigned to his ministry. Check out Teresa's testimonies on www.godspeak.net . Its not good to elevate individuals of course; I just wish I could experience more of these things, God can be utterly wonderful when His presence is strongly present, and when that is so hosts of angels are probably present. I've never been able to 'see' one myself. They sometimes can just appear in human form.

Angels do exist and there are two types. Those that do Gods will, and those that are fallen angles and who follow Satan (also a fallen angel).
Because we cannot tell good from bad and maybe tricked, God has told us not to try and communicate with angels. That's why going to mediums and using spiritism is so dangerous, because the good angels wouldn't go against God's command, and you'd only be dealing with the bad angels, demons(2 Corinthians 11:14). During our lives it is likely that unknowingly, we com across angels though.

Do not forget hospitality, for through it some, unknown to themselves, entertained angels.

Yes I do believe in angels, but your MacMillan nurse isn't an angel she is a humanitarian. Angels aren't human, they are like God's army & they help to protect us here on earth & carry out many miracles.

Yes, I believe there are angels here on earth. I also believe there are some that appear to us in human form. Sometines to help us, at other times to teach us.To point out Gods love for us. I also believe that they can be unseen, yet you can feel the presence. I am not an angel worshipper. I worship my Father in heaven, but I do believe he sends his messengers to help us and teach us. I have had a few experiences that are unexplained. A good friend of mine died a violent death at the hands of some unknown person. I was having a dream that I was searching for this person that took her life. I woke up crying because I couldn't find any answers. I got up, walked to my closet to get some clothes out... As I reached into my closet, still crying, I felt a touch on my shoulder and at the same time a peace just flowed through me and also a voice inside, a message that said," Don't worry, everything is alright now." This happened to me once again when I was feeling very upset about something... As I walked into my bedroom I felt that touch again, that peace. and this time the message was," Don't worry, everything will be alright." It is hard to describe and put into words because it was very intense in a wonderful way. There have also been times where things have happened such as... I adopted a dog when my sons were very young. One night, just days after getting this sweet gal (Cricket), I was awakened by her. We had just moved into this apt. ( electrical problems) unbeknownst to me... She woke me up to a problem that would have turned into a fire.. The next day my sons and I and Cricket went to my parents house. As I was getting the boys out of the car, Cricket jumped out and took off. She had a long leash on her. My mom grabbed the kids while I took off looking for Cricket. She was nowhere to be found. How could she disappear so fast?!!! Nowhere to be found in the neighborhood?! I may sound silly to some, But I feel she was put into our lives at that time to save us from a fire. Yes, I am believer in the existance of angels.

My wife is a nurse in a children's hospice. She wouldn't thank you for thinking she was an angel. She is just a very caring person who is good at what she does. Personally I agree with you. There are people in some professions who go above and beyond and it's usually nurses.

No nurses and care workers are not Angels!
Just compassionate human beings who feel it only right to help others less fortunate than themselves!
The winged variety are purely mythical beings. (If you don't believe in the bible) or beyond understanding if you do.
Wasn't the Devil a Fallen Angel? His followers (demons)too????

Yes, I think there are angels here on earth, but many are in the form of people like you and I, that put others before themselves.

yes i do believe there are Angels on earth, however it has been suggested that i am an Angel who was sent to look after my wife who was also in a hospice, so i do not know what to make of it really.

i worked with the diabled and loved every minute of it, like many things you need to have an empathy with the work which you do, there are a lot of caring people out there who can cope with this sort of work, if you put me in front of a computer and asked me to take it apart i would most probably throw it out of the window because i wouldnt have an understanding about these so what what i am trying to say each to ther own calling
