The answers thing is indeed an interesting social experiment and a the internet as a whole has provided fascinating insight to the idea of "mob rule knowledge."
Just look at wikipedia and the little sub-section of culture that actually edits and maintains it. Basically if you create a system of 'group knowledge', somewhere within it, you'll find the right answer... usually from the majority of the sources.
And every now and again, you get someone like me... genius, funny, incredibly attractive... and yes, the females do swooneth.

I love guys who sit at their parents' computers all day and drink Diet Coke and reach Level 7 on Yahoo Answers instead of getting a job. Huge turn on.
Since my answer provoked a bit of controvery (and, by the way, I was not trying to be controversial, just funny), I guess I'll elaborate a bit: I suppose I'm personally mystified by the answerers (both men AND women) who reach Level 7 and have something like 2,000 best answers. Impressive, but at the same time, a little sad. Alas, I too am I addicted to Yahoo Answers.

ha ha ha, i like that first girl's answer. i like how she assumes that all the guys on here are jobless losers who live with their parents. well girlie, i just discovered this little gem from a couple of coworkers about a month ago, and this is basically what i get paid to do.. sit in front of my computer for most of the day, balancing actual work and keeping my sanity by coming onto yahoo! answers for a chuckle and to answer some questions.. so my question to you is, if all the guys on here are jobless losers living with their parents, does that make all the women on here harlots who are in between clients and lines of coke?

For me its a little ambiguous mystery, charm, wit, the command of colorful alliteration and allegory.
Some of you guys are poets!! Some have very interesting perspectives and points of view.
Some know how to "push my button". Some are just jerks.
But at the end of the day, its all about a social study...how we all interact with each other with our different backgrounds, races, ages, gender....at our core, we all have one essential need...to connect with others that surround us.
