Sandals were proper footwear at that time. How do you know they were smelly? And I bet Jesus would have plenty to say about how we dress today.

They did not have "shoe factories" back then and to quote, Weird War.."Good Lord!!!"...lmao!

Because he came to earth to save our lives; with humility . Wearing sandals was easier to shake off the sand of his feet.
