Moving companies have a bad reputation. I would suggest you rent yourself a truck and do the move yourself but if that is not an option, try the better business bureau in your area. Remember to hang onto all your receipts as you can claim the cost of your move on your taxes. Makes a great deduction.

I do not recommend ging with inexpensive but rather reputation. After all, it IS your stuff you are talking about.
We used Williams to pack and move us to Barbados from BC and not a single breakage. They have also moved my mom 3 times in the past 3 years, around the Fraser Valley and our daughter to the US.
I strongly recommend them.
